What is Structured Data Cabling?

Structured data cabling is the internal infrastructure within a building which consists of both copper and fibre. In addition to network connectivity, telephony and unified communications, structured data cabling can also be used for CCTV, Access Control and now some types of lighting. Having an up to date data cabling infrastructure gives you the flexibility to easily move staff from one location/desk position to another.
