From UTL, PrintReleaf is a unique eco-efficiency platform that empowers businesses to sustain and grow their global forestry system. At the heart of this platform is a widely-accepted industry formula for equating paper volume to number of trees. 8,333 sheets of standard A4 paper is the equivalent of one tree. PrintReleaf has adopted this formula and embedded it into a platform for measuring our clients’ paper consumption, thus making the data ‘actionable’.
PrintReleaf has collaborated with industry experts in print and forestry to develop standards for measuring, offsetting, and verifying the successful reforestation of paper consumption, developing a technology platform that makes it simple for our clients to certifiably reforest their paper consumption. UTL can offer a toner cartridge recycling scheme for its customers.
The scheme covers the recycling of all toner cartridges used in copying/printing within our customers’ operations. We provide each customer with a recycling box which, when filled, we collect. A certificate of compliance is issued upon collection, reassuring our clients of the effectiveness of this scheme.
